Who are we?

Hi! Welcome to Beautiful Balance!

My name is Eva Walls. My two daughters, Kahmylia and Brisa, and I invite you to walk with us as we share about our joys and trials of balancing faith with life. We love Jesus and we love YOU, and we want to create a positive and encouraging space to inspire and bless you each time you visit us. Our hope is to extend spiritual encouragement and practical inspiration for your everyday life.

Fun facts about us!

I married this guy named Harry Walls, IV and together we have four crazy, intelligent, and beautiful children–Kahmylia, Brisa, Quint, and Xavier. I started homeschooling them in 2008 and while there have been seasons that I have longed to put the kids in traditional school, I have stayed the course and we are still going strong. Kahmylia and Brisa have both graduated from high school, and this year Quint and Xavier are in 8th and 4th grade.  

I studied music in college, specifically piano and voice.  I have been giving private piano and voice lessons for about 30 years, and that is something that I truly enjoy doing! Also, because my husband Harry is a worship pastor, I have enjoyed many opportunities to participate in various worship ministry settings over the years. That has been a beautiful blessing. 

I am Mexican-American and Harry is African-American and we have lived all over the United States. Together, our family is a big beautiful blend of our cultures and life experiences! We love to cook, garden, get creative, and make music.

What is our goal?

We have so many fun plans for this website, but our main goal is to share positive, encouraging content with you. We want to provide you all with helpful and fun resources to get you through your week! Sometimes getting dinner on the table at a reasonable time is the hardest part of your day, other days it’s teaching your angry 10 year old kid math. No, we aren’t perfect professionals, but we want to be a helping hand as you navigate through your crazy life.
